Suntory Global Spirits has officially submitted plans for the redevelopment of its distillery on Islay to expand production by more than one-third.

Suntory Global Spirits (formerly Beam Suntory) has restored a further 80 hectares of peatland through its Peatland Water Sanctuary programme on the Scottish island of Islay.

Beam Suntory has rebranded to become Suntory Global Spirits, as the company marks 10 years since Suntory Holdings acquired Beam Inc in 2014.
